including sufjan. and a good concentrated lip bite, plus lovely style (i've always admired the hairstyles from around that decade. so sleek and lovely with perfect waves)! i feel like sufjan stevens would be such a great guy friend to have. i mean, other than being sufjan stevens, he would sit around and play banjo and sing and make paper wings to walk around in (and knit?) and look so handsome all the while.
i mean, i can dream.

and! of course. it is that magical time of the year again. the time of a new PR season. mm! thursday nights are a good kind of night (and oh-so close to friday)!

outside it's incredibly gloomy today. i usually enjoy the gray skies but today things just seem awfully dark and gloooomy.. and so i have been inside! knitting (i am relearning..it's all coming back sort of) and watching adam's rib with green tea, pita bread and hummus. mm i love the results of trips to open harvest
this has been an especially great weekend. just some good people and places and times. i start new classes tomorrow and am not really (not at all) looking forward to being back. i don't know, maybe just a little, to keep me busy.
my mind's a bit foggy, to accompany the weather. just a lot of things to try to understand and a lot that i need to get over and have a different perspective on. hm!

this week is finals week for me. i'm done with one of them from the beginning of last week (teachers do what they want!) but now i have a research paper to write for that class. naturally, it's due tomorrow and i am writing a blog post (writing, instead of just posting my photos...clearly i'm stalling) instead of starting, starting, the paper.
i am the queen procrastinator! i need to develop good study habits before school really gets difficult. lazy lazy my my !
but really, a bad case of senioritis has overcome me, a horrible no-good kind of case and the whole logic behind that case seems to make perfect sense to me now! i mean, i am almost done..so very close..and it doesn't matter much anyway. so? (: heh he
just have got to stop browsing lovely blogs and etsy's and anthropologie then maybe some time some day i will write about psychology?
..?
also, just to put it out there, my calves are really feelin it today due to a "calf rasies" competition i had with my brothers last night. vicious! i mean, i walk so much, but my little calvsies aren't used to all the attention!

UO, oui

i just love urban outfitters' catalogs/collections. the photos lately have been really lovely and a great display of the clothing (which i also love). it's surprising how inspiring a catalog can be.
today i was looking through the new "early spring" UO catalog and it made me ready to be rid of this snowglobe season. i'm not really tired of it, but the lighter layers and flats just sound so enticing right now!
until the sun shows, i suppose i'll stick to these three-layers, boots-and-smart-wools days.

by the way in case you were wondering.. my favorite color is probably something like this (or the color of the three pink-ish dresses above). a light, corally pink.

aaaaalso. love this commercial by sofia coppala! dreamy and springtimey. makes me think that perfume probably smells reallly lovely.

lalalaaaaaaaaaaaa. hello! learning how to blog. whaat. like an old woman i say!
right now, strumming banjos and warm brownie sundae and coffee

hopes for this year:
- sew sew sew
- re-learn to knit
- go to college and make good of it (university here)
- practice spanish, stay on top of things, expand
- art and crafts
- more adventurous
- health (good foods etc)
- Peru, Seattle, unplanned places
- good friends with good people
- read. i have a list (i can't let the list be daunting to me. i have never been much of a reader, but always wanted to be. now's the time!)
- (last is first) faith in God, grow closer, soft-hearted.

i hope this bloggedy blog to be a reflection of inspirations i have and whatever else comes to mind. creative outlet or something similar
right now going to study psychology. because i have a final tuesday.
